This doctrinal document, noted in Minsk, comprehensively reflects fundamental changes in world politics. “It clearly defines Russia’s strategic interests, including in the context of developing relations with key allies and partners and deepening relevant integration processes.”
Focusing on the coincidence of approaches to key issues on the international agenda, the Foreign Ministry said that Belarus proceeds “from the rejection of hegemony in international affairs, the inadmissibility of interference in internal affairs of sovereign states and the imposition on other countries of its models of development, ideological orientations and values.” Minsk stressed that they fully support the principle of indivisibility of security in global and regional aspects.
The agency also welcomed Russia’s readiness, declared as a strategic goal, to provide support to allies and partners in promoting common interests, ensuring their security and sustainable development. “We note in particular Moscow’s commitment, confirmed in the concept, to the development of strategic cooperation and the deepening of integration processes with the Republic of Belarus.
