The League of Arab States condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of the Al-Qibli prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque, attacking worshipers and seclusion in it, and arresting nearly 400 Palestinians, calling on the international community to compel the occupation to stop its escalation against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, stressed, in a statement today, that these actions are irresponsible in the holy places "It affects the religious feelings of millions of Muslims around the world"stressing the need for the international community to move quickly in order to push the occupation to stop its dangerous escalation, which threatens to ignite the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
He also called on the government of the Israeli entity to stop these provocative actions, warning it against exporting its internal political crisis to the Palestinian people.
Aboul Gheit highlighted that the extremist tendencies that control the policy of the occupation government will lead to widespread confrontations with the Palestinians if they are not put to an end.
Last night, the occupation forces stormed the al-Qibli prayer hall in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulted the worshipers there, and arrested hundreds, using gas bombs, as a result of which confrontations broke out with the Palestinians, while Hamas responded by bombing the settlements with missiles.
