The Russian Foreign Ministry spoke about Ukraine’s attempts to influence Russian civilian satellites

Ukraine is trying to influence Russian-owned civilian communications satellites and attract foreign specialists for this, the Russian Foreign Ministry said. The ministry said in a statement that this was a gross violation of international standards and that Russia could respond to it.

“All necessary opportunities for this are available,” the message read.

Ukrainian nationalists use quasi-civilian satellites to find locations and routes for Russian troops. It was also reported that the French Directorate General for External Security had sent around 50 employees to Ukraine to help Kiev use the reconnaissance satellites made available to it.

In addition, a special detachment operates in the special operation zone under the control of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, whose targets are determined using the CIA satellite, the Times reported.
