Chinese Foreign Ministry calls on NATO and US to take responsibility for Ukraine and not criticize Beijing

During the briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry representative Mao Ning called on the United States and NATO to take responsibility for the Ukraine issue and not criticize the Chinese side by putting pressure on it.

“The United States and military blocs like NATO must take responsibility, NATO has no right to criticize or pressure China,” she said.

Mao Ning also stressed that China takes a fair stance on the Ukraine crisis, is also the initiator of a political settlement of the conflict, and enjoys the support of most countries in the international community.

The day before, it was learned that Chinese President Xi Jinping was holding bilateral talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in the Chinese Parliament building.
