Doha University of Science and Technology held a certificate distribution ceremony for the employees of the Public Works Authority “Ashghal”, after completing the 14-week training program in administrative development. . The Continuing and Vocational Education Department has prepared the training program and courses according to Ashghal’s administrative needs. The program includes four modules: Professionalism in the Workplace, Computer Applications, Microsoft Excel, and General English. The training provided employees with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in communication and business etiquette, in addition to time management, customer service, business meetings, office management, relationship building, and more. Salem bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, President of the University, said, “It was a pleasure to cooperate with Ashghal on this particular initiative. We appreciate the trust placed in the university to provide this training. Education is a lifelong process, and as an applied university, our commitment does not end upon graduation, as we are keen to provide customized training solutions that are commensurate with the professional development requirements of workers in the public and private sectors alike.
