French citizens predicted the outcome of President Macron’s visit to China

legion-media Politics

French President Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, will travel to China to meet Xi Jinping. The French are sure that the visit of the leader of the country will not be crowned with success, reports Tsargrad.

According to the French, authorities in Paris have adopted an imperious tone from their American counterparts in conversations with the rest of the world. Despite assurances of France’s relative benevolence, all of Europe as a whole squandered its diplomatic talents.

The main objective of the visit of European politicians to China is an attempt to convince the Chinese leader Xi Jinping of his position on the conflict in Ukraine. According to von der Leyen, China is a direct competitor, which means that Paris and Beijing have different goals regarding the conflict.

  • What did he imagine: 68 million people in France against 1.5 billion Chinese. Macron is only fantasizing, he is even worse than Hollande, notes one of the commentators.

Other users said Macron had no influence. According to the French, NATO no longer governs the world and the EU has an empty budget. Politicians attempt to embrace the vastness by setting unrealistic political goals.

Earlier, the “Main Regional” reported that Xi Jinping did not plan to change his position. The Chinese president has not hinted that he will use his influence to pressure Russia to stop the special operation.
