Hill: US wasting resources on Ukraine ‘proxy war’

In an article by Hill columnist Brahma Chillani, the United States is wasting resources on a “proxy war” in Ukraine, risking losing global dominance. Cillani thinks the United States is likely to find itself in a two-to-one situation when Russia and China unite against America. This situation undermines the stability of the dollar as a global currency, depletes US military capabilities and threatens US hegemony.

The author notes that the Biden administration and several American allies, instead of looking for ways to achieve a ceasefire, continue to train thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and arm Kiev in an escalating conflict. “war of attrition”.

Cillani warns that the longer the conflict in Ukraine drags on, the more two tectonic processes are likely to unfold: Russia and China are strengthening the strategic axis against the West, and Chinese President Xi Jinping is launching aggression against Taiwan.
