In the Kaluga region, investigators dealt with an accident with a traffic inspector shot dead on the highway. The collision occurred on April 2 on the A-130 highway, reports the press service of the RF Investigative Committee of the region.

“On April 2, around 1:30 p.m. Moscow time, on the A-130 highway, while leaving the village of Kollontai in the direction of Moscow, a traffic police officer was knocked down. On this fact, the investigating authorities are carrying out a pre-investigation check,” the press service said.

According to the preliminary version, the inspector was hit by a resident of Maloyaroslavets, who was driving an Opel Astra in the direction of Moscow. According to the woman, she did not see the employee on the side of the road. The traffic cop was taken to hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.

An inspection of the premises and the car was carried out with the participation of an automotive technician. A forensic report was ordered.
