The volume of real estate trading in sales contracts registered with the Real Estate Registration Department at the Ministry of Justice, during the period from March 26 to March 30, amounted to more than 161 million riyals.
The weekly bulletin issued by the administration – according to the Ministry of Justice’s account on Twitter – stated that the list of real estate traded for sale included vacant lands, residences, residential buildings and commercial stores, and most of the sales operations were concentrated in the municipalities of Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakra and Al Daayen.
Here is a list of the 10 most expensive properties sold in Qatar during the past week, according to the bulletin:
1. A commercial building in Ain Khaled, Al-Rayyan, on an area of 960 square meters, at a price per square meter of 27,083 riyals, with a deal value of 26 million riyals. 2. Residence (villas) in Al-Waab area in Al-Rayyan, on an area of 418 square meters, at a price per square meter of 9305 riyals, bringing the total value of the deal to 7,500,000 riyals. 3. A commercial building in Umm Lekhba, Doha, on an area of 358 meters, at a price per square meter of 16,899 riyals, with a deal value of 6,050,000 riyals. 4. Vacant land (villas) in the Umm Al Seneem area in Al Rayyan, on an area of 1533 square meters, at a price per square meter of 3653 riyals, so that the value of the deal is 5,600,000 riyals. 5. Residence (villas) in Al Ebb area in Al Daayen, on an area of 720 square meters, at a price per square meter of 7361 riyals, so that the value of the deal is 5,300,000 riyals. 6. Residence (villas) in Al-Laqta area in Al-Rayyan, on an area of 917 square meters, at a price per square meter of 4362 riyals, bringing the value of the deal to 4 million riyals. 7. A vacant land (buildings) in Al-Wakra area, on an area of 757 meters, at a price per square meter of 5152 riyals, so that the value of the deal is 3,900,000 riyals. 8. Vacant land (villas) in Al-Sakhama area in Al-Daayen, on an area of 1126 square meters, at a price per square meter of 3375 riyals, bringing the value of the deal to 3,800,000 riyals. 9. Vacant land (villas) in Al-Wakra, on an area of 937 meters, at a price per square meter of 3148 riyals, so that the value of the deal is 2,950,000 riyals. 10. Vacant land (villas) in Bu Hamour in Al-Rayyan, on an area of 961 square meters, at a price per square meter of 3014 riyals, so that the value of the deal is 2,896,500 riyals.
