Chinese President Xi Jinping said in Beijing after talks with French President Emmanuel Macron that China stands ready to cooperate with France and calls on the international community to resume negotiations on Ukraine as soon as possible in accordance with to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations.

According to the Chinese leader, it is necessary to take into account the security interests of all parties and seek a political solution.

In addition, Xi Jinping, during his statement, called for building a balanced and effective European security structure.

Recall that Emmanuel Macron arrived in Beijing on Wednesday April 5. His visit to China will last until April 7.
