A Ukrainian tried to smuggle four fur coats in the Pskov region

A Ukrainian man tried to import new, undeclared women’s fur coats into Russia. This was reported in “The Eastern Herald in Pskov” in the Pskov Customs press service.

The man was arrested for an identity check as he walked across the Latvian-Russian border. He had bags of personal effects with him. The foreigner told the customs officer that he had no goods to declare.

During the inspection of the luggage of a Ukrainian citizen, two blue and two black mink coats were found in the bags. He began to convince that it was clothing for personal use.

According to the acting head of the Ludonk customs post, Natalia Solovieva, given the number of things, they were clearly not going to be used personally. An administrative file has been opened against a foreigner. Designated commodity expertise.
