In Gus-Khrustalny on a white day, a thief took a child’s phone

The Interior Ministry of the 33rd region reports that Gus-Khrustalny police arrested a previously convicted man. He is suspected of having openly stolen a child’s mobile phone.

It all happened on the afternoon of April 4. A local resident called the service unit with a message that a stranger had stolen a minor’s phone. The caller explained that the child was crying, and when he started to ask what the reason was, he realized that a crime had been committed.

Operational search measures established the identity and location of the intruder. The suspect is a 33-year-old local resident who has a previous conviction. The man was arrested the same day. He managed to sell the cell phone, but the police confiscated the phone and returned it to the owner.
