Sky, clouds

During the battles of Maryinka, a Su-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces was shot down, supporting the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces in this direction. The pilot of the aircraft managed to eject, his fate remains unknown.

“In the Marinka region near Donetsk, during an attack on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, enemy anti-aircraft fire shot down our Su-25. It can be seen that the pilot managed to eject, we let’s hope he’s alive and well,” Russian Spring military correspondents say.

It is preliminary known that Ukrainian servicemen attacked the attack aircraft using MANPADS.

The commander of the Russian unit previously spoke about the difficulties of storming the village of Maryinka in the vicinity of Donetsk. Detachments of the RF Armed Forces continue fierce battles with the Ukrainian Armed Forces for control of the city.
