The Cultural Village Foundation / Katara / crowned the winners of the first places in the twelfth session of the Holy Quran Memorization Competition for the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 2023. Mr. Jassim Fakhro, the supervisor of the competition, handed the winning children and participants financial prizes and certificates of appreciation. The twelfth session of the competition included teaching parts of the Holy Qur’an and some of the noble hadiths of the Prophet, in addition to teaching children about prayer, ablution, stories of the prophets, the biography of the Prophet and Islamic literature, under the supervision of a group of the most qualified memorizers and trainers accredited by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, in a manner appropriate to different age groups. for the participants. For his part, Sheikh Muhammad Makki, the imam and preacher of Katara Mosque, expressed his happiness with the success achieved by the course in encouraging children to memorize the Book of God and enhancing the skill of memorization, revision, and consolidation of what has been memorized, under the supervision of qualified memorizers with a high degree of competence and experience. On the other hand, the attendees praised the distinguished level and the high status that the competition reached, expressing their happiness with the course’s outputs and its profound impact on developing the ability to memorize, strengthening language skills and understanding the grammar of the Arabic language. It is noteworthy that the Cultural Village Foundation / Katara / launched the twelfth session of the Holy Quran memorization competition for the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 2023, with the participation of (60) boys and girls between the ages of (10-14) years.
