Igor Kirillov, head of the Russian Armed Forces’ Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces, said that after a pause due to the special operation, the United States has resumed its program. Its main tasks are currently the construction of biological laboratories and the training of Ukrainian biologists.
Kirillov also said that the facts previously announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding the biological activities of the Pentagon compel the United States to make efforts to hide the true nature of the work. In particular, the name of the “Joint Biological Research” program was changed, which was actually aimed at developing components for biological weapons.
The program is now called Biosurveillance Research. Within its framework, research on dangerous pathogens and the collection of biological material will continue.
The Russian Defense Ministry has stressed that there is a risk of the spread of dangerous pathogens in areas of US laboratories.
