Saudi media reported that a vehicle had been involved in a tragic traffic accident in the Jazan region in southern Saudi Arabia, which killed 6 people from the same family, and a child from their relatives, while a child from the same family was injured of varying degrees.
And the media reported that the family’s car was on its way, at dawn on Monday, to the house of the wife’s mother in the Jizan region after spending the school vacation, before it collided with another vehicle that was traveling opposite the road.
The brother of the deceased wife in the accident, Hassan Nachili, spoke to the Saudi newspaper, Al-Sabak, saying that the car was carrying his sister, her husband, three of their daughters, and two other children, who are the sons of his other sister.
He also indicated that the father, mother, 3 of their daughters, and nephew died in the accident, while the second child, who is in hospital, survived and is in stable condition.
The newspaper stated that the same region, Jizan, witnessed another tragic accident on March 10, in which an entire family of six people were killed as well, while they were returning from the capital, Riyadh.
