Zelenskyy / official Ukraine

Fighting between the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the Armed Forces of Ukraine is becoming increasingly fierce near the settlement of Marinka in the DPR. The General Staff of Ukraine reports on the difficult situation in the evening frontline report.

According to information from the Ukrainian department, a particularly difficult situation is observed due to clashes between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and groups of the PMC “Wagner”. Prigozhin stormtroopers are actively advancing on enemy positions, successfully exercising control of the city.

In addition, fierce hostilities were recorded in several settlements on the Artemovsky and Avdeevsky directions. Despite the lull near Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, fighting also continues in the direction of Krasnolymansky, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, a Su-25 belonging to the RF Armed Forces went down near Maryinka. It is preliminary known that Ukrainian servicemen attacked the attack aircraft using MANPADS.
