They are now in the breeding season and many animals come ashore to feed their young. A hard surface is also needed for seals to rest and molt.
At this time, you cannot approach, touch and feed young seals, attempt to move them in a body of water or pick them up from the beach. This was reported by the Rosprirodnadzor press service for the Kaliningrad region.
