Rosprirodnadzor in the Kaliningrad region has asked local residents and its guests to be more considerate of animals in the area. In particular, citizens are asked not to disturb the seals in the Baltic.
They are now in the breeding season and many animals come ashore to feed their young. A hard surface is also needed for seals to rest and molt.
At this time, you cannot approach, touch and feed young seals, attempt to move them in a body of water or pick them up from the beach. This was reported by the Rosprirodnadzor press service for the Kaliningrad region.
Above all, do not approach baby seals. Adult seals, noticing people next to their offspring, can leave them and forever go to another place.
Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad reported that the number of grass fires is increasing again in the Kaliningrad region. In this regard, employees of the department of surveillance activities of the urban districts of Gvardeisky, Pravdinsky and Chernyakhovsky conducted a joint raid.
