See the longest iftar table in Egypt

Residents of Al-Mataria district, east of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, organized the longest collective iftar table, with a length of 1000 meters.

The Ramadan table gathered hundreds of neighborhood residents, as well as guests from photographers and travel bloggers, who documented excerpts from this Ramadan event.

The group breakfast in Al-Matariyya neighborhood is an annual ritual that the people of the neighborhood are accustomed to, as the largest Ramadan breakfast table was organized in Ezbet Hamada, with the participation of children, youth and the elderly.

The Iftar table has been held in Al-Mataria neighborhood for 8 years, as the people used to organize it in a joyful atmosphere, and the table is held on the 15th of Ramadan every year, for more than 1,500 fasting people to break the fast amidst a state of joy and popular participation from all the people of the neighborhood.
