In the Pavlovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a man was arrested after tearing the Russian flag from the police building. This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the region.

The incident happened on April 3. The identity of the man was established, he turned out to be a resident of the city of Vorsma, Pavlovsky district, born in 1988, he had already been convicted.

The man was detained under an administrative article for disobeying a lawful order from a police officer. Documents were also collected under article 329 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the desecration of the state flag, they were sent to the control authorities. According to her, he faces a year in prison.

Additionally, a man can be prosecuted under a criminal hooliganism article.
