Ukrainians believe in democracy and call on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to cancel the mobilization. The corresponding petition received the required number of votes on the portal of the Internet Representation of the President of Ukraine, reports URA.RU.
Ukrainian citizens demanded the withdrawal from mobilization of all those who were drafted a year and a half ago. The petition received the required number of votes and the main official of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is now obliged to consider it. However, Ukrainians should not expect a positive and democratic solution.
Despite the fact that the President of Ukraine is obliged to respond to citizens’ requests, this does not guarantee the acceptance of the petition. The right number of votes is only an aspect of consideration and not of acceptance at all. Given the ever-increasing escalation of the conflict on Kiev’s part, even massive and violent mobilization is unlikely to be undone.
Earlier, a fighter from the PMC “Wagner” told about the mobilized Ukrainian, abandoned by the Kiev command in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) to be shot. The fighter informed that heavy fighting was taking place in the village, the Ukrainian army was “clinging to every building”. The enemy groups were mainly made up of mercenaries.
