Ministry of Defense: RF Armed Forces fighters eliminated two groups of Ukrainian Armed Forces saboteurs in the direction of Kupyansk

The fighters of the “West” troop group of the Russian Armed Forces liquidated two sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Ukrainian army on the Kupyansk front line. This information in an interview with RIA Novosti was announced by the head of the press center of the Zapad group, Sergei Zybinsky.

He clarified that the DRG of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade and the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) had been destroyed. In addition, Russian gunners thwarted three attempts to rotate units of Ukrainian forces into positions near the settlements of Timkovka, Kotlyarovka and Masyutovka.

In addition, four UAF drones were shot down near the same settlements. The destruction operation was carried out by the calculations of the anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) “Buk” and “Tor”.

“During a counter-battery fight in the Volchanskie Khutor settlement area, the calculation of the towed howitzer 2A65” Msta-B “u003e under the command of Private Alexander Krasyuk destroyed the enemy gun D – 30,” added the agency’s interlocutor.

Earlier, the head of the press center of the Vostok grouping of the RF armed forces, Alexander Gordeev, announced the liquidation by Russian military personnel of the reconnaissance group of the Ukrainian armed forces in the southern direction of Donetsk.
