Ambassador Nechaev said there was no progress on the issue of allowing the Russian Federation to investigate Nord Stream

There has been no progress on the issue of Russia’s access to the Nord Stream investigation. This was announced by Russian Ambassador to Berlin Sergey Nechayev.

He pointed out that the Russian side has not received any official notification about this. Moreover, according to Nechaev, for Russia, admission to the establishment of the circumstances of the incident remains a basic requirement. They have specific knowledge and necessary qualifications, believes the ambassador.

“However, there is no progress on this issue,” Izvestia quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Swedish prosecutor Mats Jungkvist said a state-sponsored group was behind the gas pipeline explosions. According to him, it will not be easy to find the culprits.
