In the Kalyazinsky district of the Tver region, police discovered the theft from a chain store. The suspect was a 27-year-old resident of the neighborhood.
The administrator of the organization turned to law enforcement officers, who informed them of the theft of goods. The damage caused by the attacker’s actions amounted to 10,000 rubles. A team of investigators went to the scene. Police interviewed eyewitnesses, looked through surveillance cameras and visited the suspect’s home. In the store, the man put shampoos, creams, conditioners and other hygiene products in his bag. After that, bypassing the cash register, he left the scene.
The accused admitted his guilt. He planned to resell the stolen property. A criminal case was opened under part 1 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The man faces up to two years in prison.
