Kostroma Snow Maiden received a staff from Baba Yaga and a personal star in the sky

Last Saturday, April 8, in Kostroma, the residents of the city solemnly celebrated the name day of the Snow Maiden. Well, where’s the birthday party – there are presents for the birthday girl from the guests, luckily there were a lot of guests – and everyone decided to please the Snow Maiden with something something special: Baba Yaga from Yaroslavl Kukoboy presented the birthday girl with a Turning Stick, Klyukovka from Sandogorye – “cranberry juice” dominoes, Santa Claus from Sosnovy Bor – tag mittens, Udmut Tol-Babai – the board game “Traces of Alangasar”, and Baikal Santa Claus – “ice” ladies (actually glass).

But the most unusual gift the Kostroma witch received was a certificate that one of the stars in the Northern Crown constellation will now bear her name.
