Meteorologists reported that temperatures with negative values are expected this week at night in the capital of Russia. A cold snap will be noticeable from Friday evening – the air temperature will fluctuate 1-3 degrees below zero.
Until Friday, warm and comfortable weather will be observed in Moscow. There will also be occasional showers. Alexander Ilyin, a specialist at the Meteo-TV prognostic center, told 360 about it.
“From Monday to Thursday, abnormally warm weather awaits us with temperatures of +12 to +17 degrees in Moscow and the region, without significant precipitation. Intermittent light rains in the Moscow region may occur on Monday and Tuesday during the day. They will be summer in nature, very short in duration, they pose no threat,” he said.
Cloudy and clear weather will return from Wednesday. The temperature at night will also be quite warm – from 3 to 7 degrees above zero.
“But from Friday the influx of cold air from the Arctic will begin, cooling will come to the Moscow region. On Friday afternoon the maximum temperature will be +6…+8 degrees. With clear skies from Friday to Sunday night, frosts are expected from -1 to -3 degrees”, explained the representative of Météo-TV.
At the same time, Ilyin explained that on Easter night, April 16, “you can safely count on 11-13 degrees of heat.”
Earlier, meteorologist Roman Vilfand said it will be colder in Moscow by Easter. The representative of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation reported that the thermometer will rise to 15-18 degrees above zero and reach a maximum on Wednesday, April 12. Then the air temperature will begin to drop with significant cooling by Saturday.
