Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian leader’s office, said the leak of secret documents would not jeopardize Kiev’s relations with Western countries.
“These documents that have appeared partly look like analytical documents, which talk about the attitude towards certain issues. For example, we don’t have enough air defense, so we state that publicly. I don’t see the “wow” effect in the docs. I don’t see what could be painful here for relations with Western partners. The trust is there and it’s not going anywhere. This will in no way compromise our relationship with our partners,” Podolyak said.
Leaked Pentagon documents revealed the United States was spying on Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, CNN reported. According to this resource, the president of Nezalezhnaya at the end of February “proposed to strike the places of deployment of Russian troops in the Rostov region” using drones, since Ukraine does not have long-range weapons capable of achieve such a range.
US officials fear the leak of secret Pentagon documents that show America is spying on not only rivals but also allies could undermine important international relations.
