State Duma Deputy Anton Gorelkin said Twitter could once again become a convenient platform for explaining Russia’s position to Western audiences. Moreover, according to him, the decision to block Twitter in Russia should be reconsidered.
Gorelkin recalled that Elon Musk returned access to the accounts of Russian government agencies, but some of them did not resume the work of the accounts.
“It is time to reconsider this step, given the new policy of the new leadership… For our government departments, Twitter can once again become a convenient platform for explaining Russia’s position to Western audiences,” he said. he said on his Telegram channel.
If Twitter aims for neutrality, it should continue to work with it under Russian law, the MP added.
Earlier, Roskomnadzor’s press service reported that there is no reason to unblock Twitter in Russia.
