The doll of the Kursk craftswoman became an exhibit of a private collection of Russian folk costumes

The doll of a specialist of the Kursk Regional House of Folk Art, Ekaterina Chernook, entered the exposition of a private mini-museum of miniature Russian folk costumes.

The press service of the regional administration reported that the exhibits will be presented at the Museum of Russian Culture in the Moscow Library No. 73 – the Cultural Center of Academician DS Likhachev.

The grand opening will take place next week, April 19. They will demonstrate, among other things, a chicken doll in traditional dress from the southern Nightingale Territory. These garments were worn by young women on vacation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

It is already known that the work of the head of the folk costume club “Russian Tradition” will be the 43rd in the collection. By the way, the creation of this doll took 3 weeks.
