As a result of negotiations, 106 Russian servicemen returned from Ukrainian captivity. On this Monday, April 10, reported The Russian Ministry of Defense in its telegram channel.

The released soldiers will be delivered to Moscow by military transport planes. There they will undergo treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions. All servicemen receive the necessary medical and psychological assistance, the Russian military department added.

The head of the Ukrainian President’s office Andrii Yermak, in turn, wrote on his Telegram channel that the Ukrainian side had fired 100 people, including military, sailors, border guards and national guards.

Russia and Ukraine last reported on the prisoner exchange on March 7. Then Moscow announced the return of 90 servicemen, Kiev – about 130.

At the end of March, Ukraine unilaterally handed over to Russia all seriously wounded prisoners whose condition allowed their transport, the Ukrainian Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported. The Ukrainian authorities did not specify the exact number of prisoners transferred to Moscow or their status.
