Under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al Thani, CEO of the Qatar Media Corporation, yesterday evening, the Corporation held its Ramadan Ghabga in the presence of the Corporation’s employees and a number of prominent personalities in the country and society from various fields of governmental, media and academic work, in a distinctive festive Ramadan atmosphere.
His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al-Thani, CEO of the Qatar Media Corporation, said that the Ramadan gabga is a wonderful opportunity for communication, acquaintance and exchange of experiences and knowledge, thanking all the workers for their efforts in making the Ramadan program plan a success for the TV and radio channels and the various media platforms affiliated with the Corporation.
His Excellency the CEO praised the successes achieved by Ramadan programmes, series and coverage on channels and radio stations this year in the first half of the holy month, stressing that the program plan this year came to meet the needs of viewers and provide them with purposeful and varied media materials.
His Excellency the CEO of Qatar Media Corporation added: "We were honored by the presence on this night of prominent and successful personalities in various fields of government work and academic, cultural, social and media interests in the country. They have many thanks and appreciation for their generosity with their precious time, and their keenness to participate with us in this annual gathering."
The Ghabga activities included excerpts from Qatar TV Ramadan programmes, the Ramadan Cup TV programmes, and Qatar Radio Ramadan programmes.
