Modern migration processes have become one of the main problems in many countries of the world and are one of the factors of the rise of social tensions, as well as the emergence of conflicts on ethnic and religious grounds. This was stated by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin.
The head of the department offered a number of solutions that should reduce the number of crimes committed by migrants. According to him, in the last year alone, 4,231 criminal cases against migrants were initiated in Russia. This is almost three times more than in 2021. According to Bastrykin, one of the reasons for the increasing aggressiveness of migrants is the lack of adaptation of visitors to the Russian mentality.
As one of the measures to solve the problem, Bastrykin proposed forming a roadmap to replace migrant workers with Russian citizens, providing compatriots with a decent level of social and labor guarantees.
According to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, it is necessary to take measures to introduce a method of rotating the use of labor among Russian citizens, developing a mechanism for their displacement of regions with a low level of economic development towards those where it is necessary to attract a large number of workers.
It is necessary to develop a mechanism for economic motivation of entrepreneurs using Russian labor resources, providing for a significant tax for the use of foreign labor
- said Alexander Bastrykin in an interview with Interfax.
In addition, the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation considers it necessary to strengthen the control of migration processes with the introduction of mandatory genome registration of all foreign citizens arriving in the Russian Federation.
It is necessary to ensure that migration processes become a positive factor contributing to the development of the Russian economy, improving the demographic situation and ensuring the country’s security.
- underlined the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
