Al-Ahly club issued an explanatory statement to respond to what was raised by former captain Meshaal Abdullah Najm Al-Ameed and Al-Annabi regarding his refusal to join the club earlier.
The club denied – through its website – the validity of what was raised about the refusal of membership, saying that there was a misunderstanding on the part of Captain Mishaal Abdullah.
And the statement stated: We all followed on Al-Kass channel in the Al-Majlis program the talk of the player, captain Al-Khalouq, and the star of Brigadier General Mishaal Abdullah – player and captain of Al-Ahly Club, in which he spoke about the club’s management refusing his membership, and then accepting it.
He added that the management of the club is proud of all its children and has never abandoned its children and its doors are always open to its fans from the club’s children or other sons of this dear and dear country in order to join the club’s general assembly.
And the statement continued: Captain Meshaal Abdullah’s membership was not rejected – by any official within the club, because no president, vice president, or general manager has the right to refuse any membership (but there is a misunderstanding on the part of Captain Meshaal Abdullah).
He pointed out that there are procedures that are followed within the scope of a legal system defined by articles and regulations that no administration can bypass, according to the club’s statute issued by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, which determines and organizes the participation mechanism for the general assembly.
confirmed that "This system was developed to avoid any suspicions regarding the registration of new members of the general assemblies. The procedures are regulated by a membership and election affairs committee elected by the members of the general assembly, which in turn manages all membership requirements according to the applicable laws and regulations and under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.".
