Chairman of the Racing and Equestrian Club: The current season of local horse racing is one of the most successful seasons

Mr. Issa bin Muhammad Al-Muhannadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Racing and Equestrian Club, confirmed that the competitive season for local horse racing 2022-2023 is one of the best and most successful seasons in terms of technical and organizational aspects.

Al-Muhannadi said, in an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), that the current season was marked by the large participation of horse owners from inside and outside Qatar in the races organized by the club, which in the current season increased the value of the financial prizes allocated to the winners of the owners, trainers and riders in the races held. Organize it, whether on the Al Rayyan track or the Knot track. He stressed that the club is working to develop the level of Qatari racing, and is keen to raise the status of the sport of parents and grandparents, and to achieve more achievements in terms of victories achieved by Qatari horses, especially in foreign races, as well as raising the level of racing and attracting owners from abroad to participate in the races that are held every season. in Qatar.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Racing and Equestrian Club indicated that after the end of the current season, he will announce the program for the next season for the owners in order to prepare well for the next season so that the next season’s races will be more exciting among the participants in the various races, as they are required to take care of owning the best horse breeds and contribute to the club. In raising the level of racing and increasing the number of high-quality horses on the racetracks, to convey a civilized image of all horse races that are held in Qatar and to pay attention to appearing in a decent manner and keeping pace with the expected boom in the club during the next stage.

Concluding his statement to QNA, Al-Mohannadi explained that the club is preparing to organize the Sword Festival of His Highness Emir Al-Moufdi, which is the most important and largest event in the Racing and Equestrian Club every season, stressing that the festival this year will be different from the previous editions.
