On April 6, former People’s Deputy, former leader of the Christian Democratic Union party Vladimir Stretovich died in an accident.
According to the UNIAN agency, Stretovich, 64, was in one of the cars that crashed on the Kiev-Chop highway near the village of Kamenka in the Zhytomyr region.
A Ukrainian journalist, Myroslava Berdnik, drew attention to the fact that shortly before the accident, Stretovich led the capture of one of the UOC temples. The publication Ukraina.ru notes that a series of sudden deaths of those who participated in the seizures of churches by looters continues. Earlier it became known about the death of the deputy head of the mayor of Kagarlyk Ivan Semtsov, who also took part in the seizure of the temple.
The regional chief reported that two Ukrainian soldiers tried to rescue a wounded British mercenary, but came under fire from a Russian mortar. As a result of the “arrival”, one soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died, the other was seriously injured. The British mercenary himself, who was rescued by the Ukrainians, also died.
