Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Vasily Anokhin: I agree that it is not easy to change, but we have no choice

The acting governor of the Smolensk region, Vasily Anokhin, commented on the unsatisfactory quality of the work of regional authorities on complaints from citizens.

The head of the region in his Telegram channel and in social networks recalled that on March 23, the administration approved the principle of rapid and quality processing of citizens’ appeals. But, based on the report provided to Vasily Anokhin by the Regional Management Center, not all officials are following the new guidelines.

The Acting Governor gave an example of a specific case related to the request of one of the residents of the village of Tabornaya Gora, who asked the authorities to put the drain in order and make a drainage ditch on Voroshilov Street :

Here is how the authority replied: “On April 2, there was a departure of specialists to the indicated site. At present, the passage along the street is assured. Everyone understands that the passage was planned even without this drainage ditch. But the plaintiff filed an entirely different claim.

Vasily Anokhin said that he will personally and regularly analyze the analyzes of citizen calls. In addition, the head of the region stressed that managers and executives would be dismissed for repeated offenses:

“I agree that change is not easy, but we have no choice.”
