The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh continues to worsen. Yesterday, another mutual shelling between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces took place in the conflict zone. As a result, three Azerbaijani servicemen were killed, enemy losses amounted to four people killed and six wounded.
According to Azerbaijani media, the Armenian side used not only heavy artillery and mortars, but also Iranian-made attack drones. The Armenian Ministry of Defense denied this information.
There are no Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles in service with the Armenian Armed Forces
- says on the website of the Department of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
Tehran has also denied supplying Armenia with drones. Persian media reported that the IRGC was monitoring the situation in the nearby region, including using its own reconnaissance drones. Iranian army units in the border regions of Azerbaijan have been brought to high combat readiness.
Armenia and Iran accuse Baku of being responsible for the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. Tehran recommends Azerbaijan not to aggravate the situation with false declarations and to carefully consider the lessons of Ukraine.
