The Buenos Aires Planetarium held a photo exhibition in memory of Yuri Gagarin

The exhibition, made up of archival photographs, was prepared by the Russian House of Buenos Aires and Roscosmos in collaboration with the administration of the planetarium.

In a comment for RG, the director of the Russian House in Buenos Aires, Olga Muratova, noted that Yuri Gagarin is known and loved in Argentina. “Argentines are well aware of our achievements in space exploration. Citizens are happy to come to the Russian House for space-themed events such as Star Dictation, feature film screenings and documentaries,” she pointed out.

As part of the celebration of the International Day of Human Space Flight, the Russian House in the Argentine capital will host an international humanitarian action organized by Rossotrudnichestvo – Star Dictation “Let’s go!”. In the first action in 2021, Muratova noted, more than 17,000 people from 45 countries, including Argentina and China, took part.

The author of the text for this year’s dictation was Anton Pervushin, a Russian writer and journalist, space historian, and author of a number of science fiction and popular science books.
