The guys made the necessary equipment in the NMD zone with their own hands, sorted out the humanitarian cargo, and also wrote letters to the fighters. The campaign started exactly one year ago, on April 12, 2022.
“Volunteers from the Moscow region … do a lot of things with their own hands – for example, students sew sleeping bags and thermal underwear. Now camouflage nets and trench candles are in demand, they are made at the headquarters of volunteers, ”said Vyacheslav Duhin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Moscow region.
In Balashikha, participants collected camouflage nets and trench candles. The participants in the action also collected stretchers, warm clothes, dry soups, cereals and many other items needed by the soldiers.
“Camouflage nets are made in 40 urban districts of the Moscow region – on the basis of youth centers, support centers for NWO participants and their families, and other institutions. About 10,000 such nets have already been produced. The production of trench candles was established in Mozhaisk, Dolgoprudny, Lobnya – in total, in almost 50 municipalities. At the moment, the guys have made about 60,000 pieces, ”said Ekaterina Shvelidze, Minister of Information and Social Communications of the Moscow region.
Sorting out aid for defenders of the fatherland and young residents of Khimki. Volunteers assembled dry shower kits. And at the Korolyov Resource Center, students and volunteers wrote touching letters to NWO participants.
