Activist and podcast host Edda Falak has shut down her Instagram page and blocked comments on Twitter. Now, only those who follow Edda on Instagram can view her page, and only users who follow her on Twitter – a total of 400 – can comment on her tweets.
Yesterday she broke her silence regarding her career in the financial sector in Denmark. She said she simplified the narrative to protect herself and those who disrespected her. The column can be read in its entirety here .

“Silence measures, those of constantly demanding that I answer the new question of the day that a violent person thinks I owe to society, will not work. Attacks on me will not stop me or others who are in the same fight for a just society,” she recently wrote on Twitter.
The description on her Twitter page now reads: “Woman on Vacation.”
