Hero of Russia, Captain Stepan Belov, with the call sign “Taran”, told how he and his tank crew opposed three Ukrainian tanks at once in a battle. The Russian fighter shared the tactic of destroying a superior number of enemy vehicles.
The Russian officer said that three “sixty-four” Ukrainians went to his car at the front, however, the RF Armed Forces tank was not alone, it was ambushed by other equipment of our army. As a result, the three vehicles were destroyed, because, according to a Russian officer, the T-64s used by the Ukrainian army are significantly less modern and efficient than the Russian T-80s or T-72s.
Belov is the gunner of the Russian T-72B3M tank, during the whole time he worked in the special operation zone he knocked out 16 Ukrainian tanks, 4 APU infantry fighting vehicles, 10 lightly armored targets and more than 200 members of the Ukrainian army. The interview with the Russian hero was published by the official telegraph channel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers started fleeing after being fired upon by Russian Armed Forces paratroopers.
