His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, received, in his office at Lusail Palace this evening, His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the brotherly Sultanate of Oman, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
At the beginning of the interview, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, to his brother, His Highness the Emir of Qatar, and his wishes for abundant health and happiness for His Highness and for the Qatari people continued progress and prosperity.
For his part, His Highness the Emir of Qatar conveyed his greetings to his brother, His Majesty the Sultan, and his wishes to His Majesty for continued success and payment, and for the brotherly Omani people further development and prosperity.
During the meeting, they reviewed the brotherly relations between Qatar and Oman, in addition to a number of regional and international developments of interest to the two brotherly countries.
The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
