Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Kovdorets could be imprisoned for stealing a friend’s phone

In Kovdor, police are investigating the theft of a phone. It turned out that the gadget was stolen from the northerner by an unknown compatriot, with whom they drank alcohol together at the buffet.

The victim discovered the loss after such entertainment. The man himself could not find his device, so he turned to law enforcement.

Experts have found the northerner’s drinking buddy was involved in the loss. He confessed to his deed and noted that he came up with the idea to steal the phone while the gadget was left unattended. The attacker did not sell the device worth ten thousand rubles, but kept it for himself. Later, the gadget was returned to its rightful owner.

Now a criminal case has been opened against the offender. According to the press service of the Ministry of the Interior of the Murmansk region, the man faces up to two years in prison.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Murmansk said an Arctic resident is suspected of stealing a jacket from a mall.
