Russian President Vladimir Putin said she would give a dignified response to all the challenges facing the country. He did this at a gala in honor of Cosmonautics Day in the Kremlin.
Putin also noted that Russia has its own solutions for defense tasks and space exploration. He also announced the need to increase the production of space satellites.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of a test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Kapustin Yar test site in the Astrakhan region.
And Zvezda showed the latest tests of the Angara-A5 module before launch from Vostochny.
