Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Residents of the Tver region learned how to choose products for Easter

On the eve of the main Orthodox holiday of Easter, which will take place next Sunday, Rospotrebnadzor in the Tver region told how to choose the right products for the festive table.

According to Christian customs, already on Clean Thursday, believers will not only do general cleaning, but also paint eggs and prepare the main course – Easter cake.

When choosing eggs, first of all, you should pay attention to the date of sorting, as well as the appearance. The shell should be free of cracks, feathers and traces of bird droppings. It is best to store the product in the refrigerator. The shelf life of eggs is as follows:

⦁ diet eggs – up to 7 days,

⦁ Table eggs – from 8 to 25 days.

⦁ washed eggs – no more than 12 days.

Hard-boiled eggs can only be stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 36 hours.

Rospotrebnadzor also told what to look for when choosing cottage cheese – the main ingredient for Easter. Thus, it is reported that a quality product has a white color with a creamy tint and a slightly sour smell. The consistency should be smooth and homogeneous. Low-fat cottage cheese may secrete whey in small amounts. And, of course, when buying a product, you should pay attention to the date of its production and the expiration date.

When choosing Easter cakes, you need to carefully consider the product itself. If its surface is wet, then, most likely, the shelf life of such cooking will be significantly reduced.
