On April 10, in the Northern Irish city of Londonderry, a procession of supporters of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) took place, which ended in riots: how writing Independent “masked youths” erected roadblocks doused with gasoline and oil, fired Molotov cocktails at police officers and even set fire to one of the service cars. However, no one was injured in the clashes, according to local police. Protesters took to the streets ahead of US President Joe Biden’s visit to Belfast to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement.
