In the Kaluga region, the case of the organizers of a large drug laboratory was brought to court. Residents of the Irkutsk region were engaged in the production of medicines, the press service of the regional Interior Ministry reported on Tuesday, April 11.

“The investigation of a criminal case against two residents of the Irkutsk region, who organized a drug laboratory and produced 194 kg of N-methylephedron, has been completed. The attackers have been charged under Part 5 of the 228.1 and part 2 of article 228.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The criminal case has been sent to court,” the press service said.

It has been established that the man and his companion were acting on the instructions of an anonymous curator. Having received 2 million rubles from him, they bought a house on the outskirts of a small village and equipped it with a laboratory. They received equipment, precursors, chemicals for the manufacture of the drug. They received a weekly salary via an electronic wallet.

The drug smugglers were arrested by GUNK agents from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as UNK colleagues from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kaluga region, with the intention of taking a large batch of “synthetics” to the preservative.
