The Kaluga region court did not accept the protocol on the discrediting of the Russian Armed Forces regarding military surgeon Yuri Yevich, according to the court’s electronic database. The matter was referred to the inquest without review.

The review of the case against the surgeon was scheduled for April 18. The doctor was charged with a violation under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. Today in the column “preparation of the file for examination” it is written “returned without examination”.

Earlier it became known that the owner of the presidential award for participation in a special operation in Ukraine, military doctor Yuriy Yevich, will be put on trial. An employee of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Interior Ministry reported the surgeon to the police, believing that he had discredited the armed forces. Patriotic publications and Telegram channels called the situation nothing more than a whistleblower. Some Russian politicians supported the doctor, stressing the need for fair justice.
