On April 11, Chinese President Xi Jinping made an inspection tour of Maoming City, Guangdong Province. Xi Jinping visited a lychee plantation and the Longan and Litchi Commercial Cooperative Society in Poqiao Village, Caozhou City’s Canchi Town. He explored the plantation business and rural revival there, including litchi. Xi Jinping pointed out that the development of litchi plantation business is an effective way to promote common prosperity and rural revitalization. There is a huge potential for the development of specialized business in rural areas.
