A farmer’s market caught fire in Khimki near Moscow

A major fire broke out in Khimki, near Moscow, early in the morning of April 13. Details of the incident were reported by the Moscow Transport Ministry.

According to the mayor’s office, the fire engulfed the shopping complex building, which houses the Molodyozhny proezd farmer’s market. Due to the fire, the traffic pattern in Khimki had to be changed.

“Traffic along the Novokurkinskoye highway and Molodyozhny Proyezd in the area of ​​​​their intersection was completely blocked,” the press service of the Ministry of Transport warned on the Telegram channel.

According to preliminary data, the fire engulfed a room with an area of ​​​​up to 5 thousand “squares”. Several subdivisions of the Ministry of Emergencies out of five vehicles of the fire extinguishing department were involved in the extinguishment.
